Designer's Dream was a very successful charity event, organised together with two exceptional partners, SuperStudio and Christie's. Designer's Dream was an exhibition out of the ordinary, an act of love to remember our founder, Giò Colonna Romano, just over a year after his death, highlighting one of the initiatives that most demonstrated his love for art and design. After a week's exhibition, in the spaces of SuperStudio Events, the 15 artworks from SLIDE Art's private collection were auctioned at Christie's and the proceeds, 53,000 Euros, went entirely to MuseoCity, an association that works to support and enhance Milanese and national museum heritage, promoting more than 100 museums and archives in Milan. The proceeds were earmarked for the implementation of actions to increase the city's involvement in a socio-cultural perspective.

After a strong turnout during the exhibition, for the auction evening more than 160 people, including art and design enthusiasts, gathered to compete for the purchase of the works, in the presence of some of the artists and authors of the sculptures on show, Gisella Borioli, founder of Superstudio, Marco Colonna Romano, managing director of Slide, and an exceptional auctioneer: Cristiano De Lorenzo, Italian general manager of Christie's. An evening dedicated to art, design, culture and remembrance, which featured works by top names including Alessandro Mendini, Flavio Lucchini, Bruto Pomodoro and many others.
