Our colours and furniture love the environment: we have always been committed to the virtuous path of the circular economy.

Each Slide product, at the end of its life cycle, turns back into plastic powder to give life to a new piece of furniture. All products can be recycled and some colours in the catalogue are obtained precisely from recycled plastic: Elephant Grey, Jet Black, Chocolate Brown and the new Mahogany Leather.

Polyethylene: a single-material polymer

Why is polyethylene 100% recyclable? Because it is a mono-material polymer, i.e. composed of a single type of plastic. This purity of the material allows it to be completely recycled. Linear low-density polyethylene is used in the production of our furniture and can thus be reused indefinitely. Recycled colours account for about 40% of the entire production.

Recycling plastic: an ethical choice

We love the environment around us and want to do something concrete to save it. Our outdoor furniture not only stands in the midst of nature, but also wants to benefit it. Not all plastic is the same. Slide has chosen 100% recyclable, making an ethical choice towards the environment. Plastic thus becomes a valuable material, because it is infinitely reusable.
