Amore Ocean is our way of celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Amore calligraphic bench, designed by Giò Colonna Romano, by taking design in a more conscious direction. This special edition was born from the idea of transforming reclaimed ocean materials into something beautiful and meaningful. Thus, Pacific Green, made from marine ropes, and Atlantic Blue, from fishing nets, were created: two exclusive colors that carry the allure of the ocean depths and a message of respect for the environment.

SLIDE has always been committed to finding new ways to make design more responsible, without ever sacrificing innovation and aesthetics. Amore Ocean is not our first step in this direction: over the years, we’ve introduced materials like bioplastics from sugarcane and second-life plastics such as EcoAllene, derived from Tetra Pak. But we don’t stop at materials. Sustainability for SLIDE is a holistic approach: from production, with processes that minimize waste, to governance, driven by principles of transparency and environmental respect. Our commitment is outlined in our sustainability report, a document we share with pride as it showcases the concrete results of our work.
