Saint-Paul-de-Vence
The Bogena Gallery was founded in June 2000 by Bogena Gidrol in Saint-Paul-de-Vence. It has developed its own atmosphere soon, creating its own identity. The gallery is a mental image and works reflect this image.
'The owner of a gallery,' explains Bogena Gidrol, 'must feel itself and communicate'. Moving from an image to another, it is a matter of illuminating ideas, revelations, and spiritual states. For visitors, both skilled collectors and lovers of art could talk with the works immediately. The question is not just "What is the place of an artist in the History of Art or in Market, but why do I find this Artwork so moving"? Bogena, who sees the role of a mediator as the one who clarifies latent ideas, helps visitors to understand better through the works of artists.
The Bogena Gallery hosts permanently the sculpture Tete Carree Aux Aretes by Sacha Sosno from the Slide Art collection.
