Arred’Arte project

SLIDE's participation at M @ D - Monza Arte Diffusa during Fuorisalone in Monza is our unconventional way to show the results of Arred'Arte. The project started in 2019, thanks to the call by Regione Lombardia and European Union, to support the economic enhancement of innovation through experimentation and the adoption of innovative solutions in production processes.

The partners of the project

SLIDE is the leader of this important project, aimed at innovation and research for the production of design elements using the rotational moulding process. The research is conducted by ISMAC (Institute for the Study of Macromolecules), a branch CNR (National Research Council). Their valuable contribution has made it possible to study the material, making it lighter and more resistant. The production process is thus more streamlined and significantly reduces energy requirements.
Another valuable contribution is that of Meridiana-Leogalleries, thanks to which is possible to show the results of the research to the general public.

M@D – Monza Arte Diffusa

For all these reason we create M@D - Monza Arte Diffusa exhibition, during Monza Fuorisalone.  Art and Design have a dialogue together in some iconic places in the city centre. Each SLIDE Art artwork matches with a SLIDE design product, produced thanks to the new material of the research. M@D is a unique itinerary, sometimes surprising, which saw the active participation of municipal and private citizens, wich hosted our works in their gardens and courtyards.

Arred’Arte is a project carried out with the support of the Lombardy Region and the European Union, thanks to the regional operational program 2014-2020 and co-financed with the ERDF, and whose objective is: "Investments in favor of growth and employment".
